Meet Tori
Tori Hartwell (she/her) | Counseling Intern
We’re a good fit if... you are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress from parenthood, life transitions, or need help finding balance and meaning in life. I am most interested in learning about perinatal mental health, disordered eating, and somatic therapy approaches for treating trauma.
My ideal client is... a client who is open to collaboration and is motivated, someone who appreciates creative approaches to learning and healing. I enjoy working with clients who are feeling stuck and need extra support during transitional periods of life. I am a wife and mother of two and respect the difficulties parents/caregivers face in life’s ups and downs. My ideal client will allow me to help them find their strength through the challenges that unfold in their journey.
I create safety and build rapport by... holding space for you in a welcoming environment through compassionate listening to your story. I strive to walk with you through your journey and learn from you to meet you where you are. I value your beliefs and experiences and will create a safe space to help you feel seen and empowered.
Three things I love: going to the beach with my two wild boys, cozy morning coffee on the weekends with my dog Leo (and husband), and dancing to vinyl records or live music.
