Meet Melissa
Melissa Elder (she/her), LCSW, RYT-300 | Owner & Founder
We’re a good fit if... you experience sensory and emotional sensitivity, have a history of trauma, body dissociation, chronic pain, physical and occupational therapy concerns, or parenthood stress.
My ideal client is... someone who has experienced long term eating disorder, tried many types of cognitive therapy and felt like it wasn't enough or something was missing, is disconnected from their body, or feels that they are “too sensitive” and become overwhelmed easily. Sensitivity is a superpower!
I create safety and build rapport by... bringing my authentic self into the therapy room and holding presence for client's experience of living in their bodies.
Three things I love: all the coffee, therapy humor, texture & color in textiles, art and furniture
