Meet Lex
Lex Guo (they/them), LCMHCA | Therapist
We’re a good fit if… you want to explore your relationship with yourself, your identity, and the world around you; you want to explore your interests - art, writing, games, or reading, among other things - as strengths; and you’re willing to stay curious about yourself. You’re an individual or couple looking to feel more connected and better understand the most supportive way to navigate your unique experiences.
My ideal client is… someone who wants to figure out their own story and is open to sharing that journey with me. I’m excited to work with individuals and couples who identify as LGBTQ+ or queer and are looking for support in navigating the ways that their identity intersects with other areas of life. I also spend time working with those struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating, managing addiction, navigating DID and other dissociative experiences, processing trauma, or managing grief.
I create safety and build rapport by… being just as curious about your story as you are. You’re the expert on yourself. I bring my authentic self to learn about you and collaborate in your self-exploration. I value open communication and a willingness to learn and grow in how I show up for you. My space is safe to laugh, cry, celebrate, and grow in.
Three things I love: creating art and writing, games (both the video and tabletop variety), and my cats.
