Meet Katy

KATY HAGENBACH (she/her) | Counseling Intern

We’re a good fit if… you feel like you’re doing it all and you’re tired of being tired. You are looking to make a change but don’t quite know where to start, you are wanting to reevaluate and deepen your relationship with yourself or with others, or are struggling with a life transition. Maybe you are struggling with your relationship with your body and with food, or are in recovery from an eating disorder. My hope is to be a safe space and relationship for you to navigate self-exploration and positive change.

My ideal client is… someone who is invested in bettering themselves or better understanding themselves. This could be in the context of relationships, family, identities you hold, career, or wanting to become a better version of yourself. Maybe your discomfort shows up in your life as anxiety, depression, pain in your body, OCD, PTSD, or disordered eating. I have experience in eating disorder higher levels of care, as well as, a prior career in human resources, and look forward to incorporating those experiences into our work together if it fits.

I create safety and build rapport by…  being a safe place to explore what is on your mind and heart without judgment. I will walk alongside you, sit with you in the “ick”, and celebrate the wins with you. I also want to make therapy fun when appropriate! Embracing both the depth of this process and the lighthearted moments is where the magic lives.

Three things I love: Spending time with my little family, trying out new recipes, and all things fall.
