Meet Kate

Kate Swyers (she/her) | Therapist

We’re a good fit if... you are searching for a safe place to explore the different parts of yourself and work through the barriers that are holding you back. You might also be interested in incorporating more creative or somatic approaches into therapy.

My ideal client is... someone who is willing to be open and collaboratively explore their thoughts and feelings. While I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, emotional regulation, eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, grief, loss, a loss of meaning, or past trauma; anyone who is ready to start their healing journey is an ideal client.

I create safety and build rapport by... making the therapeutic space as warm and inviting as I can. I believe that every person is deserving of feeling heard and understood, and that is done by creating an environment where you can feel safe to express yourself without shame or fear of judgment. It is my hope that through this process and honoring all parts of what it means to be human, you leave feeling more regulated and connected to the world around you.

Three things I love: snuggling up with hot chocolate while playing cozy video games, baking sweet treats, and spending time with my husband and our two pets, Soma & Edgar.
